I use the Razer Seiren X with Audacity, right now. It makes the audio levels more extreme, so it seems louder and hurts your ears more. The best audio level to have your audio at is -12DB. Once it is set to that, there is little to none background noise. Because your voice is picked up as really loud, and it picks up a natural amount of background noise, lowering the decibels to -12 makes the background noise almost invisible. Perfect mic for what I need it for

I gave this a 4 because they didn’t explain that you need an adapter to use with the boom arm stands. It seems Razer stopped making the product. I had to spend hours of research and buying wrong products but in the end you will need to obtain a On Stage MA200 5/8-Inch Male to 3/8-Inch…This does work with the Razer Seiren X if you are wanting to connect your mic to a boom arm stand, but you have to make sure you take the long screwed in connection out of base of the mic. I didn’t realize it until later on that is why I couldn’t use the adapter..

I bought this and returned because the audio quality is real basic. I mean real basic, mono type of basic. I had a hard time deciding on returning it because it looks great, I mean really great. It attaches to mic stands as well. I’m sure they’re upgraded version must be spectacular, but the audio quality is really lacking on this one. I bought a Blue Yeti, but was hesitant because I had so many issues with the Snowball. The Yeti is leaps and bounds above this microphone, like leaps and bounds. I loved the look of the Seiren, but the audio quality I’d say it’s a decent sixty dollar mic, but currently it’s overpriced. I recorded some clips, and if I can locate them in my hard drive, I’ll upload them. It’s on par with the Snowball, but about 5 steps down from the Yeti. Hope this helps. Let me know. check my utube channel out if you want to see comparison videos between the Snowball(older videos) and Yeti. I’m still interested in checking out the SereinX because the design is so beautiful. If you’re a ten year old streamer though, this should be fine.
